  • 9/14/12 & 9/15/13 - Jeff Modaff from the Art Institute of Jacksonville spoke with students about the educational opportunities the school offers.
  • 9/25/12 - Jane Bowers from Johnson & Wales University spoke with students about applying for college, and financing college.
  • 10/5/12 - Morgan Fakess from Le Cordon Bleu spoke with students about the educational opportunities the school offers.
  • 10/11/12 - Rashanda Denson from Bethune Cookman visited with students to learn more about our program and facilities.
  • 10/26/12 - Culinary Skills Workshop at Daytona State College from 8:00-3:45 (8 students attended)

Troy Logan attended the Summer 2012 Career Academy Integrated Curriculum Writing Workshop
Jason Kester lead the curriculum mapping workshop to link the culinary curriculum with the new framworks from the DOE on behalf of the county (10/3/12 & 10/4/12). Other attendees: Dana Benninati (SHS), Lynn Roberson (NSBHS), & Renee Scarborough (Deland HS)
